IMUNOFAN - has an immunoregulatory, detoxifying, hepatoprotective effect and causes inactivation of free radical and peroxide compounds. The pharmacological effect is based on the achievement of three main effects: correction of the immune system, restoration of the balance of the oxidative-antioxidant reaction of the body and inhibition of multiple drug resistance mediated by the transmembrane transport pump proteins of the cell. The action of the drug begins to develop within 2-3 hours (fast phase) and lasts up to 4 months (medium and slow phases). During the fast phase (duration - up to 2-3 days), the antioxidant defense of the body is enhanced by stimulating the production of ceruloplasmin, lactoferrin, catalase activity the drug normalizes lipid peroxidation, inhibits the breakdown of cell membrane phospholipids and the synthesis of arachidonic acid, followed by a decrease in blood cholesterol and the production of inflammatory mediators.

DESCRIPTION

Imunofan is synthesized based on the natural peptide hormone of the thymus gland - thymopoietin. The preparation contains an active pharmacological substance with the structural fomula arginyl-alpha-aspartyl-lysyl-valyl-tyrosyl-arginine. The composition and sequence of amino acids is protected by Russian patent No. 2062096. Extensive clinical trials and many years of experience in the therapeutic use of the drug in the most reputable clinics in Russia have convincingly shown that there is no alternative to immunofan as an effective immune regulator.

PACKAGING

IMMUNOFAN comes in the following forms:

Intranasal spray - 50 mcg/dose, 40 doses

Injectables IM and SI - 45 mcg per ml ampoule, 1 ml per ampoule, 5 ampoules per pack

Rectal suppositories - 100 mcg per suppository, 5 suppositories per pack

Excipients:

Spray - Sodium chloride benzalkonium chloride glycine sodium edetate (Trilon B) purified water.

Injectables - Glycine, sodium chloride, water for injection.

DOSAGE

Spray:

One dose contains 50 mcg of immunofan. The daily dose should not exceed 200 mcg.

Complex treatment of acute and chronic infectious and inflammatory diseases accompanied by symptoms of intoxication and immunodeficiency, 1 dose of mcg in each nasal 2 times a day for 10-15 days.

Injectables:

Subcutaneous or intramuscular. Single and daily dose - 45 mcg.

In the treatment of cancer patients in the scheme of radical combined treatment (chemo-radiation therapy and surgery)

Once daily, the course of treatment is 8-10 injections before chemo-radiation therapy and surgery, followed by the continuation of the course throughout the treatment period. In other cases the course of treatment is one injection per day for 15-20 days.

Rectal suppositories:

Rectally. Single daily dose - 100 mcg (1 suppository).
