IVERMECTIN (Ivimec, Ivermectol, Stromectol, Soolantra, Sklice) is used to treat certain parasitic roundworm infections. Curing parasitic infections helps to improve your quality of life. DESCRIPTION

Ivermectin is a broad-spectrum anti-parasite medication. It was first marketed under the name Stromectol® and used against worms (except tapeworms), but, in 2012, it was approved for the topical treatment of head lice infestations in patients 6 months of age and older, and marketed under the name Sklice&trade as well. Ivermectin is mainly used in humans in the treatment of onchocerciasis, but is also effective against other worm infestations (such as strongyloidiasis, ascariasis, trichuriasis and enterobiasis).

PACKAGING & DOSAGE

Active ingredient: Ivermectin

One pack contains 100 tablets of 6 or 12 mg each.

Take this medication by mouth with a full glass of water (8 ounces or 240 milliliters) on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before a meal. Ivermectin is usually taken as a single dose or series of doses, or as directed by your doctor. Dosage is based on your weight, medical condition, and response to treatment. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens.
