The composition and form of issue:

Pharmacological action:

Anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial.

Indications:

Ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, blood disease, severe violations of the liver, children’s age (up to 2 years).

Application of pregnancy and breast-feeding:

During pregnancy appoint only if the expected benefits justify the potential risk to the fetus. Caution should be exercised when prescribing the drug to nursing mothers, since 5-aminosalicylic acid is found in breast milk.

Side effects:

Dry mouth, nausea, heartburn, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, diarrhea, stomatitis, headache, dizziness, insomnia, depression, fatigue, paresthesia, tremor, tinnitus, pericarditis, AV blockade, hypotension, angina, palpitations, tachycardia, dyspnea, Hyper or hypotension, alopecia, allergic reactions, changes in the indicators of urine and blood.

Method of application and dose:

Inside, after eating, drinking plenty of water. During exacerbation of ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease — 400-800 mg 3 times a day for 8-12 weeks, with the aim of prevention of exacerbations 400 mg 3 times a day.
