DESCRIPTION

Mechanism of action

The detection is based on the immunoassay analysis: the urine test sample is absorbed by the strips, in case of the presence of a drug (or its metabolites), they interact with the specific coloured antibody colloidal gold conjugate, forming a complex "antigen-antibody". This complex does not competitively binds to antigen immobilized in the visible T zone (Test), as a result a pink line on the visible T zone (test) is not generated, indicating the presence of a drug (or its metabolites) in the urine sample . If the urine sample does not contain a drug or if the drug concentration is below the pore level, so an antigen immobilized in the visible T zone (test) interacts with an coloured antibody colloidal gold conjugate, generating a pink line in the visible T zone (test), which indicates the absence of a drug (or its metabolite) in the urine sample. Unreacted test components bind to the visible K zone (Control), generating a pink line. The presence of a pink line in the visible K zone (control) indicates that the analisys has been made correctly.

Recommendations for use:

Collect the urine into a the clean or sterile cup.

The urine for the test can be collected at any time of the day.

The temperature of the urine sample has to be 15-30 degrees Celcius.

Dip the strips into the urine for about 45 seconds. Do not dip the plastic part of the cassette into the urine.

Results will appear in 10-15 minutes.



Results:

The test is negative if there are two pink stripes on the specific drug line. Note that even pale stripe is a negative result.

The test is positive if there is only one stripe on the specific drug line.

The test is not valid if there are no stripes showed in 10 minutes. Or there is only one stripe in the specific drug line and NO line in the Control zone.

PACKAGING

The kit includes 1 set of test stripes packed in individual vacuum laminated aluminum foil pouch.

STORAGE

Store in dry place at room temperature. Do not exceed storage temperature higher than 28 degrees Celcius. Keep away from direct sunlight. Keep locked and away from children.
