DESCRIPTION

SELANK is a synthetic heptapeptide analog of the endogenous tetrapeptide tuftsin. In the spectrum of pharmacological action of Selank predominates anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) with the stimulatory effect (activating) component. It works by influencing the exchange of monoamines in hypothalamus, diencephalon, the neocortex (emotional brain structures) and enzyme activity (tyrosine and tryptophan). Selank normalizes the level of serotonin in the brain, increases the resistance of neurons in the cerebral cortex to functional loads of high intensity. As a nootropic, Selank enhances mental functions, reduce mental fatigue, improves focus, and enhances memory.
